Prof. Vered Aharonson designed and teaches the Digital Healthcare stream across all departments of the University of Nicosia Medical School, where she leads the Neuroscience and AI (NAI) research team. She holds a BSc and an MSc in Physics from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and a PhD in Physics and Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University. Her research focuses on physiological signals and speech processing for medical diagnosis, biometrics and behaviour recognition, rehabilitation robotics, and affective computing.
