Michalis Papaiacovou is a Portfolio Manager at ECM Partners and is responsible for the origination and execution of investments and asset management of portfolio companies. He has over 10 years of experience in investments, including in the acquisition, divestment, refinancing and asset management of real assets. Prior to ECM Partners, Michalis worked in infrastructure private equity in London, covering the energy, infrastructure and utilities sectors in Europe. Key sector experience during this time included transactions in regulated utilities, renewables, power stations, water utilities and desalination plants, airports, toll roads, energy from waste and waste management, telecommunications, healthcare, aviation and public-private partnerships. Michalis holds an MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics and is also an ACA and CFA charterholder. Michalis is a member of the board of directors of Ygia group of companies.
